Coach Aldaco begins his third season with the Tornado Cross Country Team this year. Starting from scratch 2 years ago, Aldaco led the Concordia men's to a respectable fourth place finish at the ASC Conference Meet. The women's team placed tenth. Aldaco graduated from Texas Tech University in 1999 with a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise and Sport Sciences.

He was a member of the 1994 Division II National Cross Country Championship Team at Adams State College, was a three year letter-winner in Cross Country and Track at Texas Tech and was named All-Academic Big 12. Coach Aldaco remains involved in the sport not only through coaching, but is on the staff of the Texas Running Website, Txrunning.com. Alex is married to Brooke and they have one child Karmen.
